My son has been in this school since he was 18 months old. Today my son is 7 years old and we are still here, they follow the method, the children are treated with a lot of love and respect, my son loves this school.

Excellent school, the principal Mrs. Processor and the whole staff are amazing and very caring. They know each child by name and we feel like family. They took great care of the kids during the COVID.
My daughter has been there for more than 3 years and she had learned so many things... Highly recommended!!!

This school is phenomenal! My daughter started in kindergarten and we could not be happier. The faculty is outstanding. The students are amazing. The parents are amazing. You could not ask for more from a school. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking.

It is a great school. I was a parent for 7 years there. My two children attended MWS and they loved there. The primary program gives a wonderful foundation for learning. My daughter now in 5th grade at public school and she is doing wonder, straight As. My son is in a first grade in public school and he is a good reader and he understands math very well. I believe it is a result of a good program in MWS. Thank you for the great job.

I am a fifth grade student and I’ve been going to Montessori world school since Iwas in second grade. It is by far one of the best schools I have ever been to. The teachers are very nice and I have learned a lot since second grade. I have made a lot of friends at this school. I give it it a double thumbs up!

MWS was a great school for both of my children. The staff is caring and knows each child individually and can work with them based on their needs. The school is a special community that should appeal to anyone looking for a great education for their children. I cannot say enough nice things about the teachers, and administration.

This is a great school. My daughter has attended for almost 3 years. She is very advanced for her age and they learn more than just academics here. They learn life skills and how to be a decent human.

My daughter has attended MWS for two years and she loves it. She's currently a first grader in the Manatee room with Mrs. Stephan and an assistant teacher, Mrs. Carnahan. Everyday my daughter tells me how much she loves her classroom, friends, and teachers and that it is the BEST classroom ever! Mrs. Stephan is passionate about her kids and it shows in her COMPLETE dedication to all the children in her classroom. My daughter comes home happy everyday and happily leaves for school in the morning. Just wanted to comment on the carpool...in the 2 years I've been there, the teachers have ALWAYS been prepared in rainy weather. Every child is taken to the car with an umbrella and the doors are opened and closed for them (if they are younger and unable to buckle themselves, the teachers will do it for them). I've never seen otherwise and have certainly never seen the teachers use an umbrella in non-rainy weather. Additionally, the only times they do not bring the child to the car when it's raining, is due to the 30/30 rule. This means if there is a lightening strike, POLICY states the children must remain inside for at least 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes, if there is no lightening, school resumes dismissal as usual. However, parents are MORE THAN WELCOMED to walk up and pick up their children at their own discretion if they do not want to wait while the 30/30 rule is in effect. The 30/30 rule is a policy most schools follow; this is not just at MWS. We had the same policy at our schools in Texas too.

Montessori World School has been our family’s second home for many years. My two kids grew up going to this school from primary all the way to middle school and couldn’t be happier. All the staff are wonderful and are still in my childrens’ hearts. They are both independent, well Preprared highschoolers and visit their montessori World family often!

My two boys attend MWS, one in primary and one in elementary. Both love coming to school, my older son has now the desire to be here, unlike other schools he attended in the past. My younger son draws pictures for his teachers almost daily, both enjoy their classroom environment and teachers very much.

My kids have been at MWS for 4 years, they love the school and I couldn't be more satisfied. Great school, amazing staff, teachers are so caring. My little one can read books and she is not in kindergarten yet. Highly recommended in the Dr. Phillips area.

After 3 years in the school and my daughter today being in 1st grade, I feel so proud of my decision of choosing this school. The class room structure is of a 3 year span, so she is now with other 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. It did concern me in the early beginnings. Worried that being with younger students will hold her back or being with older students will expose her to things she's not ready for yet, but what really happens is that the older ones assist the younger ones, leaving them with a feeling of pride and leadership while the younger ones learn when to ask for assistance and knowing their classmates will be there to help. It builds both an effective bond and leadership skills, while each grade still learns their age appropriate curriculum.
My daughter now is able to read upper level elementary books, while her math skills have sharpened. Critical thinking, self-confidence, ability to explore and analyze information just makes me super thankful for her teachers. The staff has been a great part of this journey. They are after creating an open loving learning environment, and not your pocket like many other private schools. It is worth every penny and every hour.

I spent seven years at Montessori World and even now, several years later, I continue to value each of those years. The teachers are incredibly capable and caring, and the school has an incredible community and spirit about it. I continue to visit as an alumnus to be a part of this now. The lessons I learned here that I most treasure are the value of community and diversity, the importance of hard work, and the incredible value of unstructured exploration. Great things happen at this school.

Leaving MWS, I transitioned into difficult Advanced Placement courses in public school with very little difficulty. In these high level courses, I feel that it was evident that my education had placed me in a much better position than that of other students. I am more prepared to flourish in rigorous courses than are students who came from other schools. I feel that I received a high quality education and made connections with teachers and peers that would have been impossible to forge elsewhere.
