Mrs. Newman spoke with Ayden Nix, a student who attended MWS for 5 years.
Following are her responses to questions asked March 2012:
Tell me a memorable experience you've had at MWS.
"The first camping trip when we stayed in the cabins. I thought I'd get homesick, but I didn't."
Do you feel you've missed out on anything by staying at MWS?
"Not at all. I don't think so."
How do you feel about MWS?
"I love the school, that's all I can say."
How do you feel about your classmates?
"Sometimes they're distracting but sometimes they're really hard working ... but they're all good people."
How do you feel attending a Montessori school has helped you?
"I like how you can choose what you do. You don't have to do what everyone else is doing. That helps a lot."
Tell me your feelings about your teachers.
"When Mr. Moulaison does math with me (which isn't my favorite subject) he makes it easy. Mrs. Jones is sweet and helps with everything. They're really nice and funny too."
If you could change one thing about the school what would it be?
"I don't know, I can't think of anything."
